Native Flowers in a Vase
Tutor: Wilma Southan
Focus: Contemporary Still Life in Acrylic
In an energetic, painterly style while being expressive with brush strokes, a vase of fresh native flowers will be our inspiration for this workshop.
The workshop will begin with a focus on different singular flower shapes while working with a waterproof permanent black pencil (Staedtler Lumocolour available at Officeworks for $3.50 or similar) for drawing and mark making. White can be handy also for mark making.
Materials:
• Paper supplied
• 45x45 canvas or larger
• Acrylic paints
• Brushes: size 8 flat, liner brush
• Paper towel
• Container for water
• Palette & spoon or palette knife
Morning & afternoon tea provided.
